The GBA Cross-Border Employment Empowerment Platform connects vulnerable groups — including people with disabilities, career returners, older workers, and low-income youth — with inclusive employers across Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland GBA cities. It offers smart job matching, online applications, AI career tools, and employer hiring workflows in one integrated experience.

When posting a job, employers can enable blind screening so personal identifiers are de-emphasised in hiring workflows. On the applicant side, profiles are matched primarily on skills, resume content, and declared target criteria (age range, disability openness, career gap). Corporate users review applicants with match scores rather than browsing raw demographic fields first.

Yes. The site includes an accessibility widget with high-contrast mode, larger text, keyboard-friendly navigation, and screen-reader hints. Multi-language UI labels are also supported. Full WCAG certification has not been formally audited, but inclusive design is a core goal.

We protect your personal information with secure account authentication, encrypted data storage, and strict role-based permissions. Individuals control their own profiles and applications; employers only access data relevant to their own job postings.

After login, use My portal to enter your dedicated workspace — job seekers browse matched roles and apply; employers post jobs, manage company profiles, and review scored applicants.

The system automatically tags individuals into groups such as disability, 45+ workers, career returners, and low-income youth based on registration profile data. Jobs can declare matching target criteria, and both sides receive a match score (0–100) with human-readable reasons when applying or reviewing candidates.

Jobs marked as vulnerable-group friendly appear in a dedicated filter for inclusive roles. Employers with inclusivity profiles or friendly postings are listed on the friendly-employers directory. Individuals can also access community donation and legal-aid services from the portal for additional support.
